RPM Q2 vs Six Zero Coral vs Vatic V-Sol: Arm Comfort Compared
Updated 2026-10-16 · Data: 82 paddles from manufacturer spec pages · Methodology
Not medical advice. The Arm Score is an editorial estimate from published manufacturer specs (see the methodology); no study has validated it, and evidence linking paddle specs to elbow injury is limited. If you have elbow pain, see a physician or physical therapist.
These three 16mm foam-core carbon paddles tie at the top of our arm-friendly rankings, each with an Arm Score of 87. Since the score can't separate them, here's what the published specs do show.

How they differ
- Price: Vatic V-Sol $109.99 vs RPM Q2 $249.99 vs Six Zero Coral $275.00 (checked 2026-10-16). If they're equal on comfort features, the V-Sol is the value pick.
- Weight: RPM lists the Q2 16mm at 7.8 oz, Vatic the V-Sol at 8.0 oz, and Six Zero the Coral at 8.0–8.3 oz. All fall in our preferred 7.8–8.3 oz band.
- Swing weight: RPM (107–114 by shape) and Six Zero (114) publish swing weights; Vatic doesn't on the pages we used, so we can't compare them.
- Damping features: RPM says TPE neck inserts "add vibration dampening"; Six Zero describes a suspension system; Vatic says the V-Sol has two polyurethane grip inserts "to reduce shock". Each earns the same capped 7 points, and the breakdowns are identical factor for factor.
- Grip: all list about 4.125" (Coral 4.0–4.13"), so a player who needs a 4.25"+ grip may want an overwrap.
- Shapes: Q2 comes in widebody, hybrid (flat or curve top) and elongated; Coral in hybrid/elongated/widebody; V-Sol in several Vatic shapes. Elongated shapes usually swing heavier (Q2: 114 elongated vs 107 widebody).
Bottom line: on published specs, none is clearly more arm-friendly. Choose by shape, swing weight, grip and price. Our scoring doesn't capture feel, durability or quality control, and a demo beats any table. 14mm Q2 versions score lower; see 16mm vs 14mm.
