What the ranking shows
- Q2 16mm (all shapes, 87) tops RPM's list and ties for the top of our whole dataset: EPP foam core, 7.8 oz, TPE neck inserts RPM says "add vibration dampening".
- Jade 16mm (80) also uses a foam core at 7.8 oz; the 7-point gap is entirely the damping-claim factor: RPM's Jade pages we used make no damping claim.
- Friction Pro 16mm (70) lists a "Tri-Density" core without specifying the materials, so it gets partial core-material points and no damping-claim points.
- 14mm versions score 9–15 points lower: thickness points, plus the 14mm Q2/Jade are listed at 7.7 oz, just below our weight band.
- Within a family, shape doesn't change the score; Q2 swing weights range 107 (widebody) to 114 (elongated), which may matter more to your arm than a few points.
